There are numerous decent restaurants at K11 but my friend and I were captivated by the neon pink lighting and dreamy decors from this restaurant. It was way past lunch time so we sat down and quickly decided on some tea sets before they closed at 6 pm. We greedily picked three tea sets for we wanted one to be a dessert, all tea sets came with a drink of no more than $42 on the menu and we would call what we paid for a deserving price. We greedily picked three tea sets for we wanted one to be a dessert, all tea sets came with a drink of no more than $42 on the menu and we would call what we paid for a deserving price. The two savoury dishes were Mentaiko Fried Popcorn Chicken ($78) paired with Butterfly Pea Soda, and Spaghetti with Mushroom and Basil ($78) paired with Rose Soda. Also, we got the Sweet Purple Yam Mochi and Milk Egg Crepe (Brown Sugar Syrup) ($68) paired with a slightly more expensive drink as I was craving for some cold bites - Dirty Matta Latte with ice-cream ($16 add-on).
The food quality was better than I envisaged so I was surprised when I realised there was a number of negative reviews targeting the food standard. Frankly speaking, if you have read up till here, one advice I would give is that the soda (free drink) was not any worse than the add-on latte so sticking with the soda might be a good option.
In terms of the food menu, other restaurants might have fared better as their menus are bound in the form of a booklet, whereas this restaurants’ menus came in big individual boards so customers could easily lose track of which side of the board is for what types of items.
I recommend dining here during tea time as this will be the most value-for-money deal!
