I went to ICC to see my ex-colleague. Since Starbucks was crowded by our peoples, we moved to Caffé Vergnano 1882. My ex-colleagues recommended the iced mint coffee and strawberry jam donut. Thus, both of us ordered the same combination. My conclusion is “Yes, I like this combination although mint is not the best friend of strawberry jam”. Mint coffee (HK$40): This is a non-milk coffee and absolutely a good item on hot summer afternoon. They use mint syrup instead of fresh mint but its appearance enhanced the overall visual effect.
Strawberry Jam Donut (HK$18): We are all attracted by its relatively low price in this coffee shop. It doesn’t taste “too sweet” but he texture of donut was so soft with some elasticity. It has fresh strawberry grazed by chocolate with add value on this extraordinary donut.
I like this Italian style coffee shop.
