We went here on an Easter weekend Friday night.

The service was very good by Chinese restaurant standards! All of our food came quickly and the owner was patient enough to give us recommendations when we couldn't make up our mind. We got free soup with our meal.

We ended up having a choose-your-own clay pot with Garlic sauce, beef tendon, 2 mushrooms and dried cabbage. Unfortunately the combination didn't work well for our taste buds. None of the ingredients tasted bad on their own (although the garlic sauce tasted a lot like sweet and sour sauce from an American chinese restaurant), but somehow mixed together it just didn't work. That was probably more our fault than the restaurant's. I'll probably ask for recommendations the next time we do the choose-your-own hot plate.

We also had soy sauce chicken, which was delicious! The meat came a little colder than I prefer, but the sauce and texture of the meat was just perfect.

There were a lot of pictures of delicious desserts on the wall, but when I saw them in the refrigerated display case they didn't look nearly as good or as fresh. So we passed on dessert.

I might come back to this place again - I like the idea of a choose-your-own clay pot.
