Been passing through this restaurant a couple of times but never actuali tried it out coz it claims its full all da time during lunch hour. I tried again today at noon sharp n surprisingly the receptionist is more enthusiastic than before. She offered us a table until 1:10pm and my friend and I thought that is good enough. The restaurant was not luxuriously decorated but good enough to be in IFC. There were actually only 3 tables with window seat, and they rolled down the blinds during lunch hour

There were actually only 3 tables with window seat, and they rolled down the blinds during lunch hour anyway so I guess its not very necessary to ask for the window seat. The water bed in the middle of the restaurant is particular nice, kinda peaceful I would say. But nobody seems to be paying attention on that. Their bar table seems comfty too so actually I wouldn’t mind.

We ordered two lunch sets. Pumpkin green curry with spring roll, and I had spring chicken in green curry with Pomelo salad. Both sets comes with French bread instead of rice which is still crispy. The food was alright as you know Maxims is a confidence trademark.

The waiters are not exactly attentive as they never tend to refill the water until we remind them to, but then still helpful as my friend asked to have a non-spicy curry and it was done.

We end up staying there for 2 hrs and nobody tried to ask us leave. I am not sure if it’s a good thing or not, coz I wouldn’t be too happy if I was the person who booked the table, but having a 4 seats table there was nice. (*notes for ladies, their chairs have this board thing which can be pulled out at the side, so to place our handbags close to ourself yet not getting into the way)
