The iced coffee was the top choice on the menu here and after asking a few questions, we chose to have one each.  When it came out, we were a little surprised that it was so small.

Taking a sip, the initial mouthful was not too pleasant.  It had a lovely undertone of winey sweetness, the kind you get from an Ethiopian coffee (perhaps a Harrar or Yergacheff), but the high notes were bitter and sharp.  Somehow, as we drank it, the bitterness faded and was less noticeable.  While not too bad (after a few sips), it was very pricey for its size.

I don't think there is much competition in Tai O unfortunately, so they really are your best bet.  Be prepared to spend more for less.
