This restaurant has two branches, Prince Ramen and Prince dumplings.I came here twice, on my first visit I tried Lamb dumplings and on my second visit I had the curry dumplings with edame spring rolls. On my first visit, one of the staff was trying to be customer friendly like asking how the food was etc, he would ask, but he wasn’t really taking in or listening to the customers feedback. However on my second visit, they still had this type of service but it wasn’t so annoying, they were not pushy
I came here twice, on my first visit I tried Lamb dumplings and on my second visit I had the curry dumplings with edame spring rolls.
On my first visit, one of the staff was trying to be customer friendly like asking how the food was etc, he would ask, but he wasn’t really taking in or listening to the customers feedback.
However on my second visit, they still had this type of service but it wasn’t so annoying, they were not pushy as the first visit.
For a small business, it is worth commending that they put effort in the restaurant decoration and T-shirts uniforms with their restaurant logo. They even personalised their till. There were so many varieties of dumplings but in the end I got lamb and curry. Lamb dumplings:
The dumplings are the same as the usual Japanese dumplings except with minced lamb, there were finely chopped spring onions in the dumplings, they have used the bulb part of the spring onions which gave it a strong taste. Curry dumplings:
These were the normal pork dumplings served on a grilled plate covered with curry sauce.
The curry sauce wasn’t spicy, but it contained minced meat and finely diced carrots. Edame spring rolls:
This was interesting because they have taken edame beans, lined the beans on a straight line and then wrapped them into a long thin spring roll.
The spring rolls came with wasabi paste and I mixed some sauce from the table and it tasted really good. The sauce was tangy and made the wasabi paste really appetising.
Usually its just savory and hot when you mix soy sauce and wasabi together.
Anyway the sauce in the pot was really nice, it was a really appetising sauce that contained sesame and finely grounded garlic in it.
