A long time ago, I ate at Red Rice. Not this branch but another one. Not really remembering why we never visited the other branches, we decided to come here for a late lunch as we wanted to explore this week's D2 Place market. As we made it riht when afternoon tea session started, we decided to order from that menu as it came with a drink. Afternoon tea menu is in Chinese only. However, a la carte menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge.I had the grilled chicken with omuric

I had the grilled chicken with omurice ($42). This looked ok. The salad was crisp. The chicken was juicy. But the rice underneath was just plain rice with a VERY VERY tiny bit of red color. I can't even say ketchup fried rice because I didn't taste any ketchup.

Boyfriend had the baked pork chop rice ($42). This was really terrible. The pork chop was cold. Unsure why. It was also bland and tough. The rice was also not fried but just baked underneath. The tomato sauce was probably the best thing on there.

The food wasn't very good at all. Prices weren't expensive but there are far better places out there. Won't be back.
