I have been walking past this stall for awhile but never have the chance and time to try. Since my wife was not free today and i have all the time in the world, i decided to try out their food for my dinner. This little stall was selling mainly food items related to durians, and as many Hong Kong people do not like the smell of durians, it was hard to find a good durian stalls. It was located at Temple Street, near to Yau Ma Tei MTR.
they were currently running a promotion, whereby a Musang King pizza with 2 drinks were selling at $88. Even though it was quite attractive, but since i was alone i decided to order ala carte.
Musang King durian pizza - They offer mostly take away, but they do have 1 or 2 tables outside the stall for customers to dine in. Since i was dining in and while waiting for my pizza, I have a chat with the owners. I was quite curious on why the price of durian pizza was similar to other flavours since Musang durian was considered a premium. He explained that they were the suppliers and have a farm in Malaysia, thus the competitive in price. The size of the pizza was enough for 1 person, and the crust was thin and very crispy. Durian smell was strong and tasty and have slight cheesy taste.
D24 durian rice cake - Rice cake was home made by themselves and it was made till it was crispy and soft at the same time. Even though the taste of D24 was good, but it was overshadowed by the Musang king.
Mango banana milkshake - Since i had enough of durian, i decided to order mango banana milkshake. Mango taste was sweet, but i could not taste much of banana in it. It was blended till smooth and was thick.
