I seldom go to old estates like this old district so I might as well have lunch at one of their really old style Cha Chaan Tan. We have ordered two bowls of noodles to share. One of them is with beef brisket, while the other is with shrimp wonton. They are both just really average but comparatively the beef brisket one is slightly better because at least on par but the marination is just not enough and the bowl of the soup noodles just tasted bland. We were already shocked and disappointed as so

We were already shocked and disappointed as soon as this bowl of wonton noodles were brought to us because of its unappealing presentation. The wontons look like they have a really thick skin and the colour of it is too yellowish which is not what we were expecting in Cantonese wonton, though the size of them is definitely BIG!

If you are hungry and do not care about what you eat, you are going to leave with a full stomach easily without hurting your wallet.
