The shop was rather small but neat and tidy.
There are around 5 small tables & some seats at the bar.
There’s also a small area at the back (where the WC is) with seats for around 8 people.
////////// Service ///////////////
The 2 waitresses were welcoming.
They did their own stuff like reading magazines and looking at their phones, but attended to customers’ needs when necessary.
e.g. They refilled water for us when they saw that our cups are empty, and welcomed customers in when they enter.
////////// Food ///////////////
Chocolate caramel tart ($60)
Pate brisee, almond cream, praline crunch, salted caramel sauce, Jivara chocolate cream, chocolate dome
The appearance was nice.
It’s less sweet than I expected, which is a good thing, probably ‘cause it was salted caramel that was used.
Chocolate hazelnut crunch ($60)
Chocolate cream, chocolate ganache, layers of Jivara & Guanaja chocolate, hazelnut dacquoise, praline crunch
I love the slightly crunchy texture.
The hazelnut aroma made the cake more interesting, not only having a plain chocolate flavor.
My friend likes the chocolate hazelnut crunch more.
But honestly I think both are good.
////////// Conclusion ///////////////
It was nice and cozy.
I would definitely visit again for some quiet time & delicious desserts.
