Went there for lunch with 2 friends last sunday, was absolutely empty as we walked into this dark but cosy place, which was already 1-ish. we ordered the lunch sets for 3 course, 2 of us tried their peppered tuna salad and my other friend tried the cream of muschroom soup. the tuna salad was nice, condimented by balsamic vinegar and the tuna turned out to taste good even though from the colour of it, we were worried it was old, if not stale...! probably it was too dark in there. my friend's soup was so-so. then we go for our mains, which was crabmeat linguini with pesto and grilled halibut with marinated pepper and roast potatoes. my fish was very good, especially in the cold weather cos it was straight from the grill/pan... it was steamingly hot. the textile was just right. peppers were great too, although the trimmings were a bit too little. my friend's linguini was fine too, although my friend was totally against chives, parsney and other herbs of this kind, she had to pick all of them one by one! couldnt resist dessert as it was tiramisu`. it was good according to HK standards, tastes ok and felt good to see a pair of cherries decorating the top, but it would have been a lot nicer with a stronger taste of espresso and preferably marsala wine as well! we end our lunch with coffee and tea. and the bill comes to about 120 each.
