Sunday day off and it was a sunny warm day. Boyfriend and I decided to take the new MTR line and explore the area around the new station. Stopping for lunch, we came across a simple noodle shop with a number of people eating there. It seemed popular with the people who lived nearby and we decided to go in.Menu is in Chinese only. They claimed their signature dish was a beef brisket and tendon noodle ($45) so boyfriend ordered that. First off, portion size was generous! There was so much tendon! I loved it! Boyfriend wasn't so thrilled and gave it all to me! It was so soft and tender. The brisket literally melted in your mouth and was seasoned perfectly. There was so much flavor! This was really excellent.
I had the noodles with four items and seaweed in it ($45). This included one fish ball, one squid ball, one fish cake, one fish sausage and one fish skin dumpling. This was ok. Not that impressive and a bit average. I've had better elsewhere.
It seems the thing to order is the beef brisket so definitely stick with that. Portion size was pretty generous. Would probably be back if in the area.
