Just decided to try something new all of a sudden - so we just walked into this restaurant without making a reservation in advance. Luckily, tables were available since we were there at about 6:30 p.m. but it filled up pretty quickly with Korean customers (always a good sign).

After having a brief look at the menu, we ordered the seafood set meal. It cost only HK$400 for two.

The set came with:

Appetizers:
- 6/7 side dishes (Standard stuff - pretty good);
-Onion Salad (strong flavour – good with the grilled meat);

For the grill:
- Beef ribs (well marinated);
- Pork (well marinated);
-Squid (normal);
-Onion and Mushrooms;

Cooked food:
-Samgyetang (Ginseng Chicken Soup);
-Pork “bibimbap” (Stone pot rice: Good. Be careful with the sauce though - it’s rather spicy and not too sweet);
-Green bean soup;
-Fruits.

The Jinro with lemon juice was quite good and came in a teapot (less than $100).

I noticed a group of Korean ladies sitting nearby. They ordered a huge seafood(?) hotpot. That looked pretty good too. I’ll try that next time.

This very filling meal came down to about $500 for two persons - excellent value!

Good service. Not too smoky,

Wide space between tables.

Definitely recommended for casual dining.
