Valor Cheung Chau is the only coffee shop in Cheung Chau. Yes, this tiny island has a place that will give you a serious cup of coffee.It's not very big but it does a have a few seats if you do want to rest your tired feet.What they specialize in is hand drip particularly ice drip. Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge. They offer hot or cold. For those that don't want coffee, they offer hot chocolate and tea.
It was hot out so I ordered their signature ice drip with milk ($38). I did want a bit of sugar and it was just the right amount. Not too sweet to cover the taste of coffee but just enough to give it a lift for me. The coffee was strong and super cold. It wasn't watered down by the addition of milk. It was a decent cup of coffee and good spot for a break. It wasn't great coffee but it was good enough for this day.
