Beautiful weather and love to have lunch with the sunshine. Came over to Admiralty and walked around in HK Park, Haven't been to L16 years years, honestly, last time I came here was attending my friend's wedding banquet a few years ago.

Environment is excellent, close to the entrance of the HK park, surrounding by trees and lake, although it's small and artificial, still, don't forget it's HK. Outdoor sitting area is perfect in this weather, not too hot with beautiful sunshine. Indoors decoration is quite nice too, simple Thai style with some big tables for groups.

They have set lunch menu, both Western style (Onion soup + either roasted chicken / scallop spaghetti) and original Thai dishes (salad/soup + main courses such as green curry with fish / fried shrimp with rice, etc. + dessert and drink), $128, not bad.

I ordered a la carte, their signiture L16 fried rice, which is a fried rice with chicken, tomato and onion in omelette (蛋包饭) and iced dragon eye fruit (龙眼水)Fried rice looks nice, perfect shape and when I cut it, it smells so good....portion is perfect, mixed with slices of chicken, potato and onion, yummy
the iced dragon water, 8 pcs of gragon eye fruits, great portion.

Serving time is fast, it only takes within 7 minutes.

I arrived at around 12nn and there was no one, while the crowds start coming at around 12:45pm. So, if you can have early lunch, you can enjoy the beauty of quiet lunch.

Service is ok, not extremely good, but for casual dining, they are efficient and good enough.

Only looking at the price is indeed not cheap, but in HK, this amount is also buying the environment.
