To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. I reserved a table 2 days in advance. When we arrived, we were ushered to a table on the side close to the beach. That's nice.
We liked the seafood soup and lobster soup. The complimentary bread was served with herbed butter which was homemade. It tasted good. Bread was served warm and could be refilled.
The grilled seabream was served on hot metal plate, sauce was poured over the fish on the serving cart next to our table. The wine sauce was ignited and we were excited to see the flame over the fish! The fish was well seasoned, served on a bed of mixed vegetables, and the portion was enough for 3-4 people.
Staff offered to take photos of us. They were friendly and told stories about their pets at the restaurant.
We had a good time here, had good food, by the beach, accompanied by a sleeping cat.
