It’s always crowded during lunch time in central during the week but it is a totally different story on a Saturday. With all the time and relaxing vibe, I decided to check out this new American restaurant in L Place. There’s this brunch menu for the weekends and public holidays. For $248 per person, you get unlimited Caesar salad and fries, four appetisers, a main dish and a dessert. The Caesar salad was incredibly fresh and crispy with a spot on amount of dressing. The fries were tripled cooked

First time seeing Mac and cheese being fried into balls and served with cheese sauce. As a cheese lover I just couldn’t help to coat them with thick layers of cheese sauce and it was just so perfect.
Head cheese sticks fried with chicken meat were similarly good and went very well with the sweet and sour marinara dip.
Wagyu beef skewers gave some very rich beefy flavour.
By the time we finished our last appetiser, the salami and beetroot cured salmon, we already got a bit filled up was a bit worried about not being able to finish the food ahead.
Luckily the mains were in a right portion. Miso butter poached salmon served with creamy black rice. Salmon was well controlled. Under the crispy skin the meat was still very silky and smooth.
The grilled USDA prime hanger steak was nicely cut into small pieces already and you could see it was indeed a nice medium rare as I asked for. Served with white mustard and brown garlic sauce and a mouth watering smoky outer layer.
By the time we got to dessert our stomach could not really take in any more food. But knowing we had this coconut cake and chocolate cake coming we made that final stretch to indulge in this sweet sensation.
