Once I've arrived, to the left is an outdoor area perfect for drinks and to the right is the entrance of the restaurant.

The dining area is elegant and has a chic decor with lots of outdoor sunshine! It is not very big but has one private room and a very cozy round sofa table for larger parties. The dinning area is also linked to a patio which gives a french outdoor ambience with daylight! Excellent for lunch and brunch

The warm bread are soft and delicious. Especially the tomato focaccia, they are full of dried tomatos, very flavorful and yummy!

A strong taste of iberico ham and parmesan cheese puree! Yummy! These puree was covering the poached egg. The 3 pieces of dried sausages also added a notch of spicyness to the dish. In the very bottom is filled with soured asparague slices. Although I am a huge fan of sour food, it is still a little bit too much for me. Wished the sourness can tune down a bit.

Main (7.5/10) :

The pork belly is tender and matched well with the cherry puree sauce, but the crispy skin is quite hard and is hard to chew
I wish it is more crunchy. The pickles rhubarb again is a little bit too sour for my taste.

Dessert (8.6/10):

Frozen nougat with strawberries

The frozen nougat is rich and nutty with dried apicots to add some bites for the dish. (just love the apricot bits!) The mint green meringue is also appealing and crunchy. Again, the strawberries are quite sour.. wished they are more sweet.

Overall Experience:

La Saison by Jacques Barnachon is a beautiful and high quality restaurant. Decor and food are up to standard. Overall the food is yummy but there's always a tiny part that can be improve for example the sour strawberries, the crunchy pork skin etc. Also, seems like chef Jacques Barnachon loves adding some sourness to his dishes.
