Table was reserved in advanced for the Saturday evening for four of us. It was not easy to get there even we were by taxi and followed by Google map as the street name in the map was a little bit confusing. Anyway we got there right on time on the booking time at 7 pm and were led upstairs to sit on a table on the second floor of the restaurant. It was dark and the ceiling was a bit low for me and my friend spotted a table checking out downstairs when she went to washroom. Good to change to ground floor and we could enjoy the street view which looked a bit like a small town in Europe, this was why the location of Daihang was so unique for drawing people in. Even I ate quite many time of oysters in my life and I can never be expert in the specialist field and so I just talked to the expert - the restaurant manager direct. We decided to try different oyster as many as we could and so the manager introduced us one by one very patiently.
While we were seeping our white wine (2 for 1 for ordering before 7 pm), the first plate of oysters was delivered to our table. They were in so good quality and we were recommended to go from those in lighter taste to thicker one step by step. All together we had tried six different kinds of oysters and all of them were basically very fresh. Some of them were more salty whereas others were tasty; particularly I loved the one named "La Boite A Bijoux" from France.
After the delicious oysters, we needed something solid to feed up our stomach. Here it came the mussels in a bucket, pasta and risotto and bread which we enjoyed very much till the end. What a great evening, Bon appetite!
