I saw that there were two places nearby each other making fresh rice roll in front of you. I went with this one...bad choice. I got one rice roll to go so I can eat as I walk. The rice roll was nice and hot, fat and round. I took my first bit and notice that the fried crueller was too soft. I don't need it to be crispy but I prefer it to have texture. What is so great about rice roll in general is the multiple levels of texture and flavor. You have your chewy from the sweet rice, the crunchy from the preserved turnip, and the crispy from the crueller (which this place was lacking) In terms of flavor you have your neutral taste from the sweet rice and the saltiness of the preserved turnip and meat floss. This place made a really nice rice roll with the rice, meat floss and turnip except for the crueller. I ate my rice roll right away so it wasn't because it sat too long.
