It was my best friend's birthday so I decided to treat him to his favourite lamb cutlets lunch.  Booked a table today for 1:05 pm and after waiting for more than 20 minutes, the head waiter asked me to sit down in between two tables near the cashier.  I asked if there is any other table available.  He ignored me and allowed other walk-in patrons to take other tables available.  I then said to him I booked the table for 1:05 pm and I have been waiting for 20 minutes.  He suddenly said, have your friend arrived yet, if not, we cannot give you the table!  The question is - if that is the case then why was I offered a table before?  I heard people said that this restaurant offers you insult but not service or decent food.  Maybe dining in HK means you have to take the crap, paid and say thank you to the head waiter.
