Boyfriend and I decided to visit an area of Hong Kong both of us have never been to. This was the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal. Site where cruise ships dock, it was once the old Hong Kong aiport before it moved. It was pretty easy to get to. We just took the green mini bus 86 from Telford Plaza and we arrived in around 15 minutes. But when we got thee, we were taken aback at how quiet it was! I guess due to no cruise ships that day, the place was like a ghost town. However, we soon discovered there was a lot of people at the park nearby.

After exploring around, we discovered My Harbor. There aren't many restaurants here but the other one was booked for an event.  Looking at the menu and noticing a few diners inside, we decided to have dinner here overlooking the lovely harbour.

The place is very beautiful with a bar one side. There seemed to be a buffet area on another. Apparently, this place is popular for weddings. They had pamphlets available providing information on the different styles they provide. It's not a big space but boyfriend and I agreed. This is a perfect place for a small wedding party.

They only offer a set dinner. Menu in English and Chinese. The set includes a soup, salad, main, dessert and drink. All seemed to have lobster in it!

The salad was a Boston lobster garden salad. There were two claws on top. The salad was fresh and I loved the salad dressing they used. Not the usual boring balsamic vinegar but a nice sweet and tangy fruit based dressing. They also added items like radishes to not make it boring.

The soup was a lobster bisque. It had a strong rich seafood taste. Creamy and tummy warming.

Some very hot toasted bread was offered as well to dip into the soup.

I had the Grilled Mixed Seafood Platter ($468) as I wanted fish but boyfriend wanted to have some of my food so I chose this.  This included half a Boston lobster, two King Prawns, a handful of blue mussels, Halibut fillet, a few squid and two scallops along with some potatoes and lettuce. All soaked in a gorgeous seafood broth. It was almost like a seafood boil but placed on a plate. The seafood was fresh and perfectly cooked. The fish was so perfectly cooked.  The skin was crispy and the meat was moist. The potatoes soaked some of the broth up. This was lovely.

Boyfriend chose the Grilled Beef Tenderloin (5oz) with Boston Lobster, Sweet Potato Fries, Asparagus and Mixed Mushrooms ($438). The steak was moist and tender. A medium rare was requested and was provided. There was a small bit of gravy that was so well seasoned and rich in texture  and taste. The fries were crispy and sweet.

Dessert was four little cups. From left to right: melon pudding, Jasmine tea lychee jelly, strawberry mousse and coconut pudding. All were quite nice but four cups was a lot for an ending to an already full meal.

The food was delicious. No wonder there were diners here despite being a bit far from city center. The layout was beautiful with  a  great view of the ocean. Service was excellent. Clearing plates accordingly. Definitely  be back if we wanted a quiet romantic dinner away. I'm glad we decided to go to an area of town we never been to.
