Timon is located at the end of Ship Street, nearer QRE.  Staff is helpful and friendly and the interiors tastefully decorated.  We (a party of 2) were the only diners tonight, and the (at best mediocre) quality of the food is to blame for that.  At the outset we were informed that they had no clams, mussels or scallops.  For a seafood tapas place, that to me seems to be unacceptable.  We ended up ordering 4 tapas: garlic prawns (two small tired pieces), mushrooms (woody chewy texture), the calam

We ended up ordering 4 tapas: garlic prawns (two small tired pieces), mushrooms (woody chewy texture), the calamari (my guess from frozen) and the cod croquettes (passable).  The best part of the meal was the wine, and at $85/glass for house wine, it should be drinkable.

I give this place until the end of its lease.
