Needed quality time on one's own and remembered this place while passing by Langham Place. The tasteful decor and the sophisticated clientele added to the ambience - best for savouring solitude and for introspection. The service was excellent; with only 2-3 members of staff they were keeping the whole place well attended. The oysters from the Australian coast had a rich flavour of brine and one could taste Australian waters on the tip of one's tongue. The fish pie was a seafood stew (scallops, fishes, squid, etc) made into a casserole with mashed potatoes (buttery and rich) on top - quite filling and the seafood was very fresh. The brut - on a happy-hour basis - should be considered good value for money.
Overall, a soul-lifting experience - consider this an oasis in the busiest part of the city with a not-too-expensive price tag.
