Promised I am coming back again and here I come Mr and Mrs Fox in Quarry Bay. The restaurant is a 3-storey building. And we were sitting on the 2nd floor while the 3rd floor is for private function only. We were served with warm housemade bread with olive butter after we were seated. We were served with warm housemade bread with olive butter after we were seated. The black olive taste was subtle but aromatic. The butter just melted when it has been spreaded on the bread.

The crab cake was packed with savoury shredded crab. The saltiness complemented nicely with the sweet, savoury, and juicy fresh pomelo on the side. The start was also seasoned with humerous herbs with Thai infusion. It was my favourite kind of starter to enjoy.

Beef Cheek

Two pieces of super tender moist beef cheeks were sitting on a bed of pumpkin sauce and balsamic vinegrette like sauce. There is also some pickled veggie in the middle to balanced out with the succulent beef coated with sweet, sour, and savoury thick sauce.

Baked Alaska

The giant plate of baked Alaska was served on a hot skillet. Some brandy were then poured onto the dessert when it was served at our table. The halved banana on the side were caramelised nicely with crispy tops. The egg white on top was fluffy, light and not too sweet. The char on the surface also went well with some cakes at the bottom! It was just a big dessert to share and we could barely finish the whole thing!
