What a find - a brand new travel-themed restaurant in Sai Ying Pun (how fun!!)! Located 3-5 minute away from the MTR station, Pop Street's menu (and to a certain extent, its decor) is designed around different culinary specialties from around the world. The lunch menu is categorize by geographical region - I chose the skirt steak burrito with hot sauce from Mexico with a side of Chinese "la zi ji" a.k.a fried chicken knuckles and a healthy homemade herbal tea. As a slight snobbish burrito aficionado (from Cali) I quite picky about my burritos. The burrito was a pleasant surprise. Though not quite the same as home, Pop Street's burrito was delicious nonetheless. The tortilla was grilled perfectly and the stuffing was very tasty. It washes down perfectly with the accompanied homemade herbal. The star of the show, in my opinion, was the La Zi Ji. IT BLEW ME AWAY. I'll be back the next day just for this! It's fried perfectly and has an amazing andante texture. The seasoning is a perfect blend of saltiness and spice.

I had a nice chat with the floor manager afterwards (the service is superb) and he recommended we try the peri peri chicken next time. Consider it done, Pop street!
