Seriously good food

I’m very picky about food and I’ve tried fine dining in various places. I’d say this restaurant serves memorable food - food that isn’t particularly creative or fancy itself but makes you go WOW that was really flavourful, let’s come back for more. There were no ‘miss’ dishes out of all the 5 dishes that we ordered. The wagyu, uni pasta and starter were the stand-outs of the night. They also had a pretty good craft beer selection. I’d say this restaurant serves memorable food - food that isn’t particularly creative or fancy itself but makes you go WOW that was really flavourful, let’s come back for more. There were no ‘miss’ dishes out of all the 5 dishes that we ordered. The wagyu, uni pasta and starter were the stand-outs of the night. They also had a pretty good craft beer selection. What impressed me the most, however, is the wonderful service and kindness the owner/ head chef displayed. He allowed us to come early and store a cake in their fridge without additional cost (cake-cutting is also free!). We couldn’t finish the cake but we wanted to walk around Tai hang a bit, so the chef kindly allowed us to leave the cake with them in their fridge before we came and picked it back up. We are definitely coming for more!
