The kimchi was very fresh and spicy but also very sweet which was nice but I prefer spicy kimchi. It was also obvious that it had been in the waiting tray for a long time as it has turned room temperature and lose its coldness. The spare ribs was so incredibly tender and flavorful. The meat tested apart with ease and it was so soft with such amazing meaty flavors. Their was also a lot of turnips, a few carrots and one shiitake mushroom, the vegetables were all infused with the beef fat and sauces which made it taste delicious. The turnips were a bit less cooked than I would have liked as it was hard to break it apart but leaving it in the hot bowl was enough to soften it a little. The meat sauce was perfect with the rice and there was still a lot of extra meat to eat on its own. Definitely recommend 👍. Only downside is that it is rather fatty and you can see the fat from the meat in the sauce as well so be careful of the cholesterol.
The Korean sweet rice drink is indeed very very sweet so be careful if you are not a fan of sweet drinks, I mixed it with a lot of water to dilute it and it became much better. So very worth the $8 as I got 5-6 cups of drink at the end 🤣.
Sweet and spicy fried chicken (half). Very crispy exterior but a bit too thick for my liking. The sweet and spicy flavor was delicious and reminded me of 咕嚕雞球. The meat however was a bit tough to bite through but not hard. I received this as a coupon for becoming a member and it was very worth it as there was 4-6 pieces and I got it for free.
