Maxim’s have launched a chestnut cake that is just right for autumn.There are three delicious layers in the middle, the top is chestnuts mash topped with chestnuts. In the middle of the cake is creamy chestnut mousse and chestnut puree sandwiched in a chocolate sponge cake on top of a crispy chocolate base. There was a good balance of filling to the cakes.
