For Kee is a family restaurant which has a long history in Sheung Wan district. I never got a chance to try out their food, as its opening hours don’t quite match with my schedule. Finally, I got to try it out after watching an early drama in Central.
On the day of my visit, the shop cat had a great time sleeping in the sun.
And the signature Pork Chop Rice really lives up to its fame. It’s freshly made upon ordering, so be patient and wait for the good stuff.There was a thin layer of transparent sauce on top. My friend and I thought it was oil at first, but it didn’t taste like so. More like delicious, thin sauce. Very nice to go with the rice and pork chop.
The pork chop was definitely superb! Right thickness and tenderness to make it easy to bite and chew. Very flavored but won’t make you feel thirsty after eating it. Very addictive indeed!
The rice was flavored with the aromatic soy sauce. Again, rightly flavored and won’t make you feel thirsty.
Everything is just so right to the point and enjoyable! I should have tried it out earlier! Now I will grab every chance to have this delicious pork chop rice again!
