Simple, Super Italian

A super taste of Italy! We shared a starter (Caprese), a pasta (Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimps), a secondo (Halibut with tomato, olive, capers) and a desert (Panna Cotta). Everything was really tasty! A super taste of Italy! We shared a starter (Caprese), a pasta (Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimps), a secondo (Halibut with tomato, olive, capers) and a desert (Panna Cotta). Everything was really tasty! Lovely! The Angel Hair was just a little bit overcooked for my liking, but still delicious, a bit spicy but not too strong. The halibut (we had to wait a bit for this because another big group of people arrived) was cooked just nicely, and the simple taste of the fish was perfectly offset by the slice of Parma ham, olives and capers. And to finish off, the Panna Cotta was really creamy with a nice berry sauce.

The small restaurant had a cosy, friendly feel and the owner, Vincenzo, was really positive and friendly (and gave us a free Limoncello to finish off with!)

Overall, a very nice experience... simple, tasty, genuine Italian food in a friendly environment, and good value for money in my opinion.

And the service was good :-)
