I really had a hard time understanding the Singapore invasion phenomenon in Hong Kong food scene which is the place people all the world comes to enjoy the high quality of Chinese food, particularly the cantonese ones. First, the dreadful Breadtalk which seems to sprout up everywhere and then this one.

Nevertheless, the taste of the food at this place is very similar to what I had in Singapore so far, ie nothing memorable. For Kaya, I believe that the Thai version of the same thing, called Sangkaya, in Thailand is much better than what was served here and in Singapore, even in the instant form. The toast maintained its signature I had both in Singapore and Hong Kong, ie bone dried and tasted as if it was rolled over by the asphalt paver. The Thai version will offer you two choices, the original steamed bread and the toast version, both of which are much better on an average.

Also, its much vaulted about coffee which added magarine to the roasted coffee, is definitely an acquired taste but I can tell you for sure that it's a no-no for the current revival of good coffee.
