Randomly picked a restaurant after attending a class in Kwun Tong with a friend. Walk in without any expectation, turns out a big surprise to find out this restaurant.Restaurant was around 70% full on a Sunday evening. It is not common in Kwun Tong commercial industrial area in weekend. Environment is comfort and cafe style and there is an outdoor area, but I didnt explore that part of the restaurant. We were hungry and picked the set dinner menu for 2. It includes a soup, starter, pasta and steak.
For the starter part, the butter toast gave me a big surprise, crispy and the butter taste, thumb up. I don't usually finish the bread with soup, and this toast, I can have another few pieces. My mushroom and soup also nice, I just prefer to be a bit warmer. We added a salad as well and it tasted ok.
The pasta is interesting and this is the first time to eat such a small pasta. Just like a bigger size of rice and the sauce goes well with it. Especially it will cheese
After we finished the whole plate of pasta, finally our slow cooked steak in medium. The color of the steak is attractive. I tasted it with together with a bit of salt, it tastes wonderful. I tried with the sauce, fantastic and love the sauce!!! It tasted a bit sour but sweet at the same time, really goes well with the steak. After we finished the steak, I was still guessing with my friend about the ingredients in the sauce as I tasted toffee...Haha
This restaurant, recommend 2~4 people for gathering purpose. Next time may try their coffee and cocktail.
