I had a Groupon voucher that I had to use up as it was about to expire. The deal was for $38, you can use it to buy $54 worth of food. Well, an original combo cost $75 so I had to add an additional $21.I haven't eaten at Triple O's in a LONG LONG time. When it first opened in Hong Kong, I tried it. I haven't eaten at Triple O's in a LONG LONG time. When it first opened in Hong Kong, I tried it. I thought it was ok as fast food places went but then times have changed. There's now a burger revolution so Triple O's got forgotten. When Triple O's first came, it was touted as a popular Canadian burger chain. Honestly, I'm Canadian and I never had a Triple O. It's actually only found in Vanouver and yeah...I'm not from Vancouver. So, I really cannot compare to how it actually is in Canada. But it really doesn't matter because the Triple O's in Hong Kong uses beef from Australia. And they are famous for their sauce, riight?
Ordered the regular combo which included the original burger, fries and a Coke. The soft drink was actually a larger size than I had expected. The fries were cut thick but sadly soggy. They weren't crispy at all and when I picked them up they were limp. The burger was sad to look at as well. The pickle was laid on top and looked sadly pale. Everything was squished down. Patty was dry and so small. I had more bun and lettuce than the patty. Sauce was minimal. I guess I should have asked for more sauce. Pretty dismal burger experience. Boyfriend told me the only thing good is the milkshake so ... I should have just ordered that? Won't be back for the burger anyways.
