I can tell that the owner must appreciate wine a lot. walls full of vineyard posters, countless wine selection...my throat tinkled already. The server recommended us a bottle of Mass Brut Cava to pair with our food. They do know their wine and food, the bubbles were fine and smooth, with refreshing taste of apple & pear.

One of the best to pair with Cava would be Oysters, and French would be the best choice during winter season. We had Ostra D'oa and Divine. They were both very fresh and meaty. Personally I like Ostra D'oa more as it has a sweet after taste, whereas Divine had a stronger "sea salt" taste.

To continue with our perfect wine pairing experience, we also ordered a Thai cocktail shrimp. The shrimp was HUGE! the chef suggested us to eat the head too, and yes we did, it tasted awesome. The richness of the tomally with the freshness of the meat, heaven!

As for main, we had an angus beef to share. We ordered medium rare, and it was nicely done. One thing I am usually reluctant on ordering steaks at restaurant was the red juice. Chateau Aqua did a good job on this. The steak was perfectly done, juicy and tender, without a slight red juice presence!

What's a good meal without dessert. We had apple creamcheese roll. Pastry crepes filled with apple and creamcheese, with hint of cinnamon and nutmeg. Served warm and perfect for the season.

My friend and I enjoyed a lot there, and I would definitely come back to Chateau Aqua Oyster & Wine for more wine and food. The cava was yummy and the food was exccellent, not to mention how attentive and courteous the servers were. Chateau Aqua Oyster & Wine is definitely a new gem at Soho.
