Haven’t been back since they relocated from Ocean Terminal. Teacher said he recently came for an event and was impressed by the food quality so he organised wine pairing competition here this evening. Loved the cosy wooden panelled room that they assigned to us.Trio of spring roll, crispy tofu and shrimp ball to start. Particularly impressed by spring roll and crispy tofu. Deep fried marble goby to follow. The fish skin was no longer crispy when it was served. Bit of a letdown.
Roasted Chicken with Red Bean Curd Sauce 南乳燒雞 to follow. Crispy exterior and succulent interior. It would have been better had it been marinated for a longer period of time.
Grilled lamb chops 香草燒羊扒 Meat was tender and did not have the slightest gamy odor that Iamb meat usually have.
Beef brisket curry 咖哩牛腩 A highlight for me. Loved the curry sauce that had a rich coconut milk flavour.
Overall a restaurant that serves solid Vietnamese/South East Asian cuisine.
