Food - so so. Nothing out of the ordinary. Mind you it's not Spanish x Japanese x Perusian fusion cuisine. They literally serve a bunch of Japanese dishes and a bunch of Spanish dishes, interweaving in the menu (may be a bunch of Peruvian dishes too but I can't make out). I personally find it weird as I don't think Spanish and Japanese (food) make a stunning couple.
We asked their server to recommend their signature dishes but couldn't really get a lot out of it as he practically recommended the whole menu. We particularly did not like the 2 main courses which were the king crab legs baked with mayonnaise (why Mayo to cover its taste if the legs were fit for eating own their own?) and Iberico pork which tastes just like any ordinary piece of pork.
Desserts we ordered were some chocolate special they only offer to VIPs normally (we are not their VIPs though) and a bowlful of Catalan cream which tastes cream, and nothing but cream.
One other theory we do not understand is why their servers insist on speaking in English when their English is honestly not exactly brilliantly fluent, and especially when we made it quite clear that we could do with Chinese?
