Chicken and Egg has been around for almost two years and I just managed to give it a try. It was one of the best lunches I've had recently. Why didn't I go sooner????

It was close to 3 and I was the only customer. The server pretty much took my order, served the food, and disappeared. I didn't mind...

I wanted to try both the chicken and egg (haha of course) so I ordered the set lunch with a side of scrambled eggs ($10 extra). For the set, I chose:

Greek salad - Tasted and looked quite authentic to me with feta, onion, cucumber, tomato, olives. The veggies were nicely coated with the right amount of citrusy dressing. Lovely palette cleanser.

Gazpacho - A fresh, cold, and full flavored tomato soup. It's got a nice drizzle of olive oil with a couple of crusty croutons on top. The soup tasted super refreshing (even more perfect for the summer time) and I love that it was blended very smoothly.

Cumin chicken - Nicely marinated with the cumin spice and was served luke warm. The skin was crispy while the meat was juicy.  A piece of bacon was served on top of the chicken but it was rather flavor-less. The mashed potato was semi smooth with bits of chunks (which I like) and accompanied with a rich gravy.

Scrambled eggs - Silky smooth and didn't taste rubbery. I put it on top of the free bread roll and it was phenomenal. I cannot speak enough about the roll - light and fluffy inside and it was HOT.

I paid $10 extra to upgrade the drink to a cappuccino and it was worth every penny. It's got a nice roasted flavor with a medium body.  Too bad they didn't have skim milk but I enjoyed it thoroughly. I wish they could have added a little piece of biscotti on the side.

Great little place on the quiet side of Kowloon City. I will definitely go back and try their other pasta and egg dishes as well as the detox healthy drinks.
