Today when we were wondering what for lunch. We stopped by Pizza Hut.They were having a half price set for DBS card holders.We ordered the Starzbites combos for two at $217plus 10% service charge. The set included a large pizza, a pasta, two lobster soups, two drinks and two Serradura Pudding with unlimited refill for soft drinks.We chose the Starzbites pizza and Portuguese Chicken Spaghetti. We chose the Starzbites pizza and Portuguese Chicken Spaghetti. Three of us found the portion was enough for us to share.
The pizza was good. I liked most the black and white sesames sprinkled at the edge. They enhanced the flavour of the pizza. The scallops were tender, though not so big as we saw on the ads. The whole pizza did not make you feel too stuff even though there were much cheese.
The soup was average. We could see that they used lots of flour. The lobster flavour was alright. Texture was not too bad.
The spaghetti and the sauce was average. It would be better if there were more veggies.
I do not quite like Pepsi, so I do not comment it good.
The most surprise for the whole meal was at the end. We did not expect the dessert was so good. The biscuit crumbs of the pudding tasted good and not too sweet, just right. The pudding underneath was smooth and yet just the right sweetness. Wow, good wrap up.
The restaurant setting was cozy. Our booth was by the glass window with the street view.
The waiters were in average quite polite. However, they seemed to be quite new and even not familiar with the table numbers and the combos criteria. Our Pepsi disappeared when the waiter took it away for refill. We only got it back when we told him that he has taken it away. Hope it was the same glass or a new glass....
They even forgot to give me the spaghetti coupon for the next purchase (included into the promo)
