In some circles its known as a all-you-can-drink sake place - with endless fridges of Sake, definitely not the kind that you get at your local grocer either, so its a very good place to try some more obscure brews.

When you're there at the right time, their trained sake sommelier can help you pick the right one (unfortunately you really have to be lucky on who's minding shop that day..) - but they can help with selecting either the more dryer or fruiter tastes.   If you opt to stay late enough past 9pm, its also buy one get one from Mon-Thur!  Our experience wasn't 'perfect' this time around, but previous visits were amazing where we met a very knowledgeable sommelier.  If you aren't a sake drinker - their highballs are also really good value! (and they also serve beer.. for the beginners)

Most places you go drinking tending to be rather weak on their culinary expertise, but do not fear - this place does get quite good with their food offering.  From fresh fish shipped from Japan, and a million choices of izakaya / yakitori dishes - everyone will be able to order something for their pallet (yes, even the salad eaters.. they also serve greens!).    What they do not have is sushi - which is what I admire about them not even attempting it as they do not have a sushi chef.   What I loved: firefly squids - which are tough to find in HK, multiple types of chicken innards on a stick, very fresh sashmi and their cheese mochi is A MUST.

Their atmosphere is amazingly cozy, although dimly lit - the izakaya-charm is oozing from it's walls and signage.
They also have rooms for large (and noisy parties) - so best call up and get a quote on it to really maximise your experience!

Depending on your bill, you will also get an opportunity to try the claw machine to see if you can win any coupons.. a free 1.8L bottle of sake is in there somewhere...
