After hiking in Tai Tam we took a taxi to Stanley. Booked a table at 7pm. The waiter was not satisfied we booked the table at this time, he preferred us stay here to start the meal right now. Gosh! its only 6 sth, dinner now?! I still left my number and reserved a table for 4 in an hour later. I told him we wanted to order pork knuckle when I booked the table. So he could prepare for us beforehand and thus we needed not wait for that long. Food was still nice. Love the pork knuckle. Very crispy layer with chewable soft bone. Risotto and pizza were good, with satisfying texture. Casear salad was nothing special. We added salmon ($18) that each of us had only a small piece.
Dessert: we ordered a cup of tiramisu and an apple tart with ice-cream.
1) tiramisu cup is quite special. Hard texture (not bad to be be hard!) and maybe it's kept in fridge it's colder than the normal ones, esp it has the cup. Taste not bad!
2) apple tart with ice-cream. the apple slices were fresh! This's a surprise!
And I asked the chef to put a candle on each of them.
A nice dinner by the way. If you wanna get pork knuckle at a reasonable price, go Angeletti.
