When you think street food and Hong Kong, does tofu fa come to mind?Probably not. But there are a lot of places that do serve tofu fa and you stand there on the street, porcelain bowl in hand, slurping away quickly so you can return the bowl into the dirty dishes bucket and walk away.亞玉豆腐花 is one such place. Probably not.

亞玉豆腐花 is one such place. They have branches in Yuen Long and Tsuen Wan. And now have made their way to Hung Hom. The menu is in Chinese only. But they do only sell tofu fa. They do offer combinations of other flavors but I just love the original.

One bowl costs $8. Fairly inexpensive. You can request cold or warm. I chose cold. It wasn't a strong soybean taste. But it was fairly smooth and was in it's own way pretty perfect. A good pit stop so you can wander the streets for more street food later.
