After finishing the cocktails at Vivace, I finally came to the restaurant albeit a bit late due to the servie hicupp I mentioned at Vivace (I called Jade in advane I would be late though). Both dishes look lovely, especially the sweet and sour duck. The beautiful decoration was made of sugar and you have to take the photos quickly as it will melt. As said, the problem with both dishes was that the sauce was a bit too sour even for me. However, actually it tasted quite good once you eat it with a bit of the sugar decoration or just simply touching the sugar decoration. It was quite obvious since for the pieces that were touching the sugar decoration, the taste was great. However, for the ones on the side, it was a bit too sour.  If this had been the intention of the chef to make the sauce slightly a bit tarty to make it work well with the sugar decoration, then I felt his/her effort is wasted as I was not informed of this(actually none of the food was introduced).

The Pear dessert was a slight let down as I felt it was a bit too syrupy to emphasize the sweetness of the pear itself. Overall, with the openrice discount, I would still rate the overall as great.
