Recently opened in Megabox, Coco Ichibanya finally brought some good news to the hungry working group in Kowloon Bay. You know how often the food comes out different from the menu? Out of my expectation, the roasted duck was very delicious! It was very juicy with crunchy skin! The curry had remained the quality and taste, tasting strong, creamy and spicy without being too heavy on the palate.
Cream CroquetteServed screamingly hot, the cream croquette had a crunchy outer and a creamy inner with savoury potato mash. I still found the ones I had in Japan's Coco Ichibanya tasted much nicer though.
I am happy to have Coco Ichibanya in Megabox close to my workplace! Yet I would not see myself going too often, curry is not the food I crave for lunch.
