Sunday is a day for rest, so why not have some "dolci"?  Wan Chai seems to be a "sweet" neighbourhood for people who have a sweet tooth. From cookies to cupcakes to these fancy pastries, Wan Chai has them all. Decor & Hygiene:The place was neat and clean looking and the colours were warm and welcoming. It was a really small place with some standing space if you want to have a coffee and cake. There were about 20 different pastries and they were all lining up neatly, waiting for you to bring them

Sunday is a day for rest, so why not have some "dolci"?
Wan Chai seems to be a "sweet" neighbourhood for people who have a sweet tooth. From cookies to cupcakes to these fancy pastries, Wan Chai has them all.

Decor & Hygiene:
The place was neat and clean looking and the colours were warm and welcoming. It was a really small place with some standing space if you want to have a coffee and cake. There were about 20 different pastries and they were all lining up neatly, waiting for you to bring them home.

Service:
The staff was VERY helpful, friendly and cheerful. She spent time talking to us and said that she could recommend us cakes based on our preferences. Then, she even put up with our indecisiveness as it took us a while to know what we wanted. Excellent service!

Taste & Value:
We had no intention in having gelato, but we thought that since we were there, we might as well sample it as well. The staff gave me a spoon of the 83% chocolate and it was amazing. Then, my sister asked her what flavour the one on the left was, and she said it was Peanut butter!!!!
PB is my weakness and my sister's so we HAD to try it.
PB and chocolate are a perfect match so we got 2 scoops ($59), peanut butter and chocolate! The PB scoop tasted like a sweeter and colder version of peanut butter. As for the chocolate sccop, it was super rich and since it was 83%, it had that slight bitter taste to it that made it just right. Both scoops were so creamy and amazing. I could have their gelato every day!

After having the ice-cream, we decided to get to 2 pastries to bring home. The staff told us that the Caramel Chiffon cake($40?) was one of the top sellers so we got that and a Hazelnut cake ($40?). The chiffon cake was disappointing. The caramel tasted real though, not artificial at all, but that was the only taste of the cake since the sponge underneath was flavourless. Having said that though, the chiffon cake was nicely made. It was spongy and had a bounce to it when we cut it. Ha!
Since this cake didn't meet expectations, I was worried about the following one, but I didn't need to. This cake was absolutely delicious!! The hazelnut mousse was very rich and it had a nice crunch to it. It was like a Ferrero but richer!! LOVED IT!!!

Final Verdict:
Although kinda pricey, with such good service and delicious dolci, I'm already planning my next visit!
