nasi lemak w beef rendangthe rice was super fragrant - loved the strong coconut and pandan flavour! the beef rendang was tender and rich; the fried crispy anchovies and sambal went really well with the rice too. great combination of flavours and textures on the whole.kaya toastthe kaya (coconut jam) was rich and had a strong pandan flavour which I loved! I'm normally not a big fan of huge slabs of butter in my toast but this was surprisingly delicious. bread was perfectly toasted too.claypot loh

again, this had a great combo of flavours and textures. I really liked the springy texture of the loh see fun (also known as silver needle noodles 銀針粉). it was seasoned well and the raw egg and fried anchovies were no doubt essential to this dish!
also got the kumquat preserved plum drink and wintermelon longan drink - both were very refreshing. (+$25hkd if you order any nasi lemak/rice/noodles)
