Back to my monthly guilty 'canteen', trying out their Wednesday Super Ribs deal😂. We ordered of course Super Ribs (half rack), Crispy Chicken Mac and Cheese, two house white with side dishes of fried chicken tender (with fries) and mozzarella sticks(with fries) and chocolate brownie. Super ribs was surprisingly smoky. Barbecue sauce doesn't taste those commercialised, or maybe they mixed with their own seasoning. Meat fell apart easily. Very juicy and tender. Good to share even just half rack. M

Good to share even just half rack. Mashed potato tasted like 'KFC 😂without gravy';no joke😂. With the special Wednesday deal of only HKD68, I won't expect much😏
Crispy chicken mac and cheese was alright. Chicken wasn't cripsy as covered with marinara. Appreciated the marinara was slightly spiced. Chicken wasn't dry but not as juicy. Mac and cheese was ok. Personally prefer baked crispy but this was those mixing with cheesy sauce. Not too salty. I sprinkled more black pepper for extra kick.
Fried chicken tenders were in thick cut! I didn't expect that! It was served during happy hour of total HK80 including a selected drink and a side. A very good deal! There were three chicken tenders. Cripsy and well seasoned batter. Chicken was juicy and moist!
Mozzarella sticks were alright. Generally like mozzarella. Batter wasn't well seasoned, just a crispy cheese pieces. Nothing special.
In general, happy hour sets were worth to grab and chill. Especially in this location without much hassle, they allowed to chill for hours.
Last but not least, we ordered chocolate brownie as dessert. Vanilla ice cream scoop was huge. Highly appreciate a huge scoop of ice cream that is enough for every bite of the dessert. Hot brownie with icy cold ice cream were perfect match. Brownie slight melted the ice cream. Mixing vanilla with chocolate gooey brownie was heavenly good. Brownie wasn't too sweet and dense. It was a nice round up of the dinner.
As a regular eater in Ruby Tuesday, I highly recommend the branch in Quarry Bay, not only for their comfortable seats and allowed to sit long, staff here usually recognise us and serve us how we wanted. It gives us the sense of welcoming every time.
