Had company event, booked a table at the terrace. Ours is a set menu, for a 21 pax dinner, and 6-7 dishes dinner with alcohol costs 30K, that's the minimum charge.We booked for 7.15pm, full party arrived, seated, drinks being served, however, the appetizer took more than 1 hr to be served and in the mean time, there were no bread provided, so for an entire hour with senior management, all they did were to refill our drinks. We booked for 7.15pm, full party arrived, seated, drinks being served, however, the appetizer took more than 1 hr to be served and in the mean time, there were no bread provided, so for an entire hour with senior management, all they did were to refill our drinks. We rushed them for 5-6 times for only the first course... it was cold dish, some minced pork on a sliced pineapple, placed it as if it's fine dining (bite size), then we had to wait another hour for another cold dish (after 4 or 5 times pushing the manager/ kitchen)... we didn't start the main course till 9pm, so waited 2 hrs + for cold dishes.
what is even more amazing is that, it's SET MENU and it's not even full house!! I dont see how the kitchen can take forever. The "dessert" was horrendous, they gave us Longan the fruit, fresh from the market, cut out the branch so you can pick up each branch, and they cut the shell in half, that's one of the dessert, and the other one was Lime Glace, basically lime soaked in ice cold syrup.
for 30K dinner, i would expect something more than just some fruits picked from the market. and the long waiting time, it's longer than a french fine dining!! at least the french cuisine would keep the dish coming without more than an hour wait.
would i recommend the restaurant?! Hell No! Overcharged and super slow, besides we're paying for the location, i dont see how they could ask for 30k.
