Went to D2 Place to shop for my dog. After shopping, we went to this neighborhood café for a late lunch. I have been to this cafe for a couple times, they alter their menu from time to time, so there is always something new. Because we woke up early, so I ordered a latte to freshen up my mind. We ordered a carbonara and a beef shoulder. Because we were too hungry, we forgot to take a photo of the carbonara. The carbonara was creamy but not heavy, fabulous. The presentation of the beef shoulder was nice, with some grilled veggie on the side. The taste of the meat was splendid; crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Beef shoulder is always my favorite cut, as its flavorful with a good balance on the tenderness. And you always get a big chunk, value for money.
I will go there for dinner next time, to try their dinner menu, prob with more people, so we could taste more dishes. The suckling pig and pre-dinner snacks are looking good too.
