Our party of 5 went for early dinner at 6pm with a discounted offer through Eatigo. Even at full price we would have been happy with this meal. Superlative cooking with outstanding ingredients served in generous portions. Service was a little dreamy, perhaps the staff are new, but nothing to complain about. Every dish was excellent. Of particular note was the lobster tail (very large and juicy, perfectly cooked and not a hint of rubbery-ness), quail was outstanding (great flavour without being top gamey, light touch with seasoning), tenderloin was outstanding (very soft, perfectly pink in the middle, gorgeously light seasoning), tagliatelle and uni chitarra (pastas were both homemade with excellent texture. The uni could have been fresher but this is not a Japanese restaurant), twice-fried fries were huge in portion and quite addictive. Too full to try dessert - the cheddar crust apple pie sounds enticing. Will return.
